Here are some of the most common questions we receive about the academy.
During the school year we offer 5-week classes called "sessions" in a variety of levels. Sessions consist of a maximum of 20 students receiving skills instruction with children of similar age and ability. Click here to see upcoming classes and enroll your child. Please remember that you can only enroll for a class in the open enrollment period (two weeks before the class starts and the first week of class).
Registration for each session will open 2 weeks before the class starts and close after the first week of class. Spots for each class are limited and are secured on a first-come-first-serve basis.
If you are new to Earnest Academy, please read about our basketball skill levels to determine the starting level of your child. Go to the basketball skills classes page to determine the appropriate level for your child. Then view our schedule to register for an upcoming class.

Drop ins are available for students checking out the academy and if the coach (or student) would like to swing into a specific class for additional practice. For a tutorial on how to register for drop-in classes please click HERE. Inconsistent training often provides inconsistent results. We offer classes 7 days a week and encourage students and families to aim for a consistent training schedule.
Our skills classes are taught by our expert instructors who are listed in the class enrollment form as you register. Earnest Academy takes pride in the instructors and coaches we work with. It is our goal to always provide the students with an instructor of great character, knowledge and ability to inspire the students.
If your child misses a scheduled class due to an illness or scheduling conflict, they may make it up in one of the other similar level classes within the same week (before their next regular class). Please message or call ahead to ensure that there is space available as we limit the number of kids in each class.
Remember, once 7 days has passed they will not be able to make up the class without special arrangements. Please message us at info@earnestacademy.org or message our Facebook page.
It is difficult to have classes on the major holidays due to travel and family schedules. If your class falls on a major holiday and the academy is closed, you can make up your class another day during the same session. If the last day of your session is a holiday, you can message us and we will help you make up the class. We will notify everyone if/when the academy is closed on a holiday.
If we choose to close the Academy because of inclement weather, we will notify students and parents through the app and add content to our social media platforms as soon as we make that decision. Most often, we will stay open for athletes that want to attend. If you feel uncomfortable driving to the academy, please do not take any chances, you can make up the class before the session is over. Often times the travel conditions are good in town, but awful outside the city limits. Because of this we will choose to hold classes for whoever can safely get there. Please travel at your discretion.
YES! We have both our main academy and our practice space available for rent. Each space has a standard day rate and multiple booking discounts are offered. Please email Krista@earnestacademy.org for rates and availability.
